OK, so Rosie was *supposed* to be a Christmas gift. Buuuuuut... I decided that she'll be an early gift. See, I am hosting Thanksgiving this year, and I figure that she will be an advanced reward for all of the hard work I'll be doing to make Thanksgiving special for everyone. That sounds legitimate, no??!! Work with me, folks... Her name is actually Eileen Rose, but I have an Eileen already. So, Rosie it is! Rosie is a papered 1980 U baby.

I sent my little piggy, Caroline, to the spa for new hair. I absolutely love her face, and I do like her hair a lot, too. But, I think that her hair was too overpowering for her. She has a funny face, so I think that the huge hair was competing too much. A face like that needs a simpler hairstyle. I love to see pics of babies with the shaggy hair, but I can't seem to bond with it. I can't ever make it look "right". So, I officially give up on it. LOL I'll post pics when she comes home! Stay tuned!

Today, a wonderful little lady arrived. Her name is Christi, and I am in love! She is a SE 09 girl with latte skin, blue eyes, and gorgeous ketchup-red colored hair. Her ponytail is mostly straight yarn, with a couple of poppies mixed in.
I had adopted out my other SE 09 girl a while ago. The buyer made me an offer that I could *NOT* refuse... ;) Anyway, I figured that if I ever got another one, I wanted a wonkier face. My Elyse is a gorgeous baby. But I think that by SE 09 standards, she was on the "prettier" side. Christi is ... not. And I adore her for that. I have a very soft spot for ugly ducklings...
Please excuse the bad lighting, it's a dark and cloudy day. But I couldn't resist snapping a couple pics.

Holy moley. I've readopted 7 babies, and have 1 baby on a TA. I really cleaned house!

Glad you confirmed my thinking. I felt she was priced too high as well. read more
